“Adapt or perish, now as ever, is nature’s inexorable imperative” HG Wells.

The universe is in constant motion. Life levels up whenever we feel we are about to complete the journey.

Think about it. This is the only way for us to challenge and evolve, so don’t feel sorry for your ‘bad’ luck. We are all in the same boat in movement.

Then why does it look so easy for others to achieve great things?

To look easy doesn’t mean it was easy to get. The final result is usually just the tip of the iceberg. Most commonly, what we all see at the end results from a long list of training, learning, failing, and trying again events.

Like when I run a marathon and receive my medal and banana after 4 hours of running, it’s not merely a prize for that race alone. It represents the culmination of the last 3 months of training, overcoming failures, enduring hardships, recuperating, strategizing, maintaining focus, and fortifying the mindset and strength required to triumph in every long-distance run on Sundays, despite the obstacles of weather, work, special diet, family, and social commitments.

The ultimate race is truly a celebration of all those weeks of physical struggles and mental challenges, serving as a testament to perseverance and determination.

Any achievement may appear easy at the end. We proudly display the results, knowing that the smiles of those in charge reflect appreciation for the long journey behind. Because it is in the experiences and the lessons learned that all this is worth it, more than the final show-off.

Don’t be sorry for encountering another challenge; embrace it as an exhilarating opportunity to grow!

Most of us quit our dreams due to frustrating obstacles in our lives. Quitting is only an option when our target is no longer valuable. Feeling sorry for giving up weighs more and more on our shoulders and our minds with every step we take far away from that goal.

No matter how deeply we hide that intention, our minds constantly ask, “What could have been if?” Feeling sorry for not knowing the answer tastes like fear and failure. The most paralyzing feelings in humankind. Even worse than the frustration of the initial obstacle in itself.

Remember that failing is the only path to learning. Feeling sorry or blaming others is an excuse to skip your responsibility of learning and keep trying. You must embrace trying, failing, learning, and taking action despite fear; rather than giving up, avoiding, and feeling sorry for getting stuck in life.

It is not in the written destiny but in our attitude to determine if we let dreams pass by. Let’s stop feeling sorry and take responsibility for ourselves. It’s time to chase those goals once again.

Try taking ownership of all tasks and their outcomes. “I can handle it,” “it’s my responsibility.” Confronting challenges with a positive mindset will prompt your brain to find solutions rather than excuses and resistance.

Make a habit out of this dedicated attitude and you will see yourself achieving great things as if they were easy to attain.
